The old schoolhouse |
Photographs by Kim Parker The five bells from the old church were transferred to the new bell tower. When first hung, these five bells had the heaviest ring in the diocese of Salisbury, the second heaviest in England and the fourth heaviest in the world. The oldest one dates from 1613. Three more bells have since been added, so there are now eight. The schoolhouse is now a private residence |
