Will of John Humber of Rampisham in Dorset - 1888

I John HUMBER of Horsey in the Parish of Rampisham in the County of Dorset declare this to be my last will & testament. First I direct that all my just debts funeral & Testanientary expenses shall be paid out of my estate. I give & bequeath my watch to Henry John oldest son of my son Henry HUMBER. My clothes to my daughter Fanny FRAMPTON. My carpenters tools to my son Samuel HUMBER. All my Household goods and furniture I give to my daughter Fanny FRAMPTON. And all the rest residue & remainder which I shall die possessed of or entitled to I give in equal parts to all my children by both wives if living or in case of the decease of either then such share or shares of my Residuary estate as would have become the property of the deceased if living shall be given to his her or their legal representatives & I hereby appoint my sons Thomas HUMBER & William HUMBER executors of this my last Will & Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunder set my hand the twentieth day of May One thousand eight hundred and eighty two…………….John HUMBER

Signed by the said Testor as this last Will & Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other subscribed our names as witnesses…………Henry CONWAY, Builder, Evershot…………Robert Holloway HANN, Farmer,Horsey, Dorset.

 

Proved at Blandford on the seventeenth day of June 1882 by the Oaths of Thomas HUMBER and William HUMBER, Sons of the deceased, the Executors to whom administration was granted.

The Testor John HUMBER was late of Horsey in the Parish of Rampisham in the County of Dorset, carpenter and died on the 28th day of May 1882 at Horsey aforesaid under £200.
