The church of All Saints from the west side and the east. The porch is thought to have been added later, possibly being one of the Chantries of Milton Abbey, it has a very elaborate ceiling. The construction of stone and flint can be seen in the right hand picture.
The font, situated below the west tower is of Purbeck Marble, fashioned during the Norman period. The restoration in 1891 provided a new roof over the nave, re-laid floors, a vestry, new seats and an enlarged organ.
These 15th century paintings were originally part of a very large screen in Milton Abbey, they were taken down in 1774, restored and given to the church, they depict ten of the original Apostles. | These cottages are just below the church. |
